Floyd and Donna Mize Scholarship
The Floyd and Donna Mize Scholarship fund was established to provide scholarships annually for students pursuing a degree in the Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture with preference given to undergraduate Forest Wildlife Management majors.
Impact
The late Floyd and Donna Mize, native East Texans, both received their master’s degrees from SFA. Their son, Ron, devoted his career to forestry and wildlife management, primarily in East Texas. Floyd and Donna Mize understood the importance of education and worked hard to finance their own schooling at the bachelor’s and master’s levels.
