W.B. Irwin, Jr and Erlean Irwin Scholarship

W.B. “Bill” Irwin, Jr., 71 of Galena Park Texas passed away on June 24. 1993. Mr. Irwin was 1942 graduate of SFASU. Mr. Irwin served in the United States Navy for three years during World War II at the end of the war he returned to Cushing where he taught school for two years before entering into law school at Bates School of Law at the University of Houston.
At the time of his death, Mr. Irwin was survived by his wife 53 years, Mrs. Erlean Whitaker Irwin and his children, Michael Irwin, Penny Spencer Irwin and Whit Irwin. Mrs. Irwin passed away in 2006 at the age 83.
