Mr. and Mrs. Tom and Deborah Pruitt- The Dr. Tera Pruitt Price and Nathaniel George Pruitt Scholarship
Dr. Tera Pruitt Price graduated magna cum laude from Rice University and also earned her doctoral degree from Cambridge University, Trinity College, Cambridge, U.K. Price taught and supervised graduate students at Cambridge prior to becoming the former project manager for UCLA. She currently serves as a Teach for America Corps member.
Nathaniel George Pruitt is a graduate of Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business Human Resources program and is currently attending the Master of Human Resources program at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business.
Impact
This scholarship was endowed by Tom F. and Deborah Nichols Pruitt, in honor of their two children’s academic accomplishments, and is awarded to deserving SFA students who are majoring in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Recipients must be in the top 10 percent of their class and maintain at least a 3.0 grade-point average.
