This scholarship is intended for full-time students who demonstrate need and academic potential. Minimum test scores required are ACT of 19 and/or SAT of 1000. Recipients must be a graduate of an accredited high school located in one of the following counties: Angelina, Anderson, Bowie, Cass, Cherokee, Hardin, Harris, Houston, Jasper, Jefferson, Liberty, Nacogdoches, Newton, Orange, Panola, Polk, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, San Jacinto, Shelby, Trinity, Tyler; and Miller County, Arkansas. Preference shall be given, although not required, to at least one recipient from the graduating class of Diboll High School, Diboll, Texas; and one from West Sabine High School, Pineland, Texas.
