This scholarship is for the benefit of nursing majors with a 2.5 GPA or higher. An additional essay is required to qualify for this scholarship.

  1. The following are two essay topics based upon your major:

    If you are a Nursing major please submit an essay, minimum of 250 words, describing why you want to be a nurse, who has influenced you to become a nurse and how you see nursing impacting health care's future.

    If you are a Transition Major please submit an essay, minimum of 500 words, describing why you want to pursue a BSN degree in nursing, who has influenced you to continue your education in nursing and what changes in the nursing profession could you implement with a BSN degree.
